Black Plastic Cow xscape
When we came to see the cow for our blog we were not quit expecting it like that.
It had lots of colours and pictures to go with it.
Olivia explained that she liked all the drawings on the cow, but she didn't like the black background and it should have had a bit of white on it.
Gracie said as we got back to the flat she liked the glasses but she didn't like the horns.
I liked all the beautiful pictures to go with it all to do with shopping.
"We all liked it ."

Sun Dials - Theatre District. Unknown artists
This piece of art is the one we planned to photograph last Saturday, but we did not because last Saturday it was raining.
Daddy thinks the pointy piece is a sundial and he thinks that the other ones were all clocks.
Olivia's favorite one is the one that looked like tents.
Heidie's favorite piece is the one that goes round like a maze. It had golf balls on top of the wood poles.
Gracie's favorite one is the one that was like a mini Stonehenge. Gracie brought her camera along but it didn't work because the battery was flat.
It was very muddy there!

Media: Michael Sandle, 1988
This sculpture is called Media it was designed by Michael Sandle.
It was made in 1988.
We choose this sculpture because it was raining and it was the nearest sculpture to us.
Olivia says that the hammer is very cool but the weather wasn't good at all.
Heidi thought that the sculpture was good.
Gracie thinks that it was the best sculpture yet.
Media is found out side the Milton Keynes shopping center which is near the market in Milton Keynes.

Snow Castle 2010, Olivia, Heidi & Gracie 2010
This artwork is dedicated to the young pirates of the Caribbean
This piece art work was made by Olivia Heidi and Gracie but most of it was made by Daddy.
We tried to make a snowman but the snow wouldn't stick together so thats why we called it the Snow Castle 2010.
Heidi thought it was very cold but also fun. Gracie thinks that the snow was cold!
Olivia thinks that it was boring making the Snow Castle because all you have to do is pile snow on top of the same pile, so it would of been better making a snowman if we could
At the end Heidi and Gracie sat on the pile of snow which is acutely called [The Snow Castle.]

The Aesculapian Arch, Milton Keynes Hospital. 2009
We chose this Sculpture because it was on the page when we search for New year art in Milton Keynes, on Google.
The sculpture was outside Milton Keynes Hospital.
Gracie's explanation was that she liked the sculpture because it was big.
Olivia explained why she liked the sculpture as well but she thought it was a bit strange because it was in the middle of the roundabout, which was in the middle of the road.
Heidi's explanation was that it was embarrassing doing a photo in the middle of a roundabout.
We all liked it.
The artist is called Ekkehard Altenburger and is internationally renowned. The artist also made lots of other artworks including 'Mirror House', which is currently on the Isle of Tyree in Scotland.

The Angel, Olivia, Heidi and Gracie May 2009
This piece of art is going to be our last blog this year because we are going to Germany, so we will not be with Daddy this year for Christmas and we are having Christmas day this week Saturday.
The art is called The Angel because we three kids created it to put on top of the Christmas tree. It took hard work to create, and I thought it was worth it because I made most of it.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the three artists!

The blog is late this week because Daddy is writing it. It should be Gracie's turn but the girls had a school Christmas Fayre to go to, which, obviously, is much more important.
Being the run up to Christmas we decided to do Milton Keynes Christmas art and have chosen the lovely reindeers sculptured from twigs. They are in the in the ring in the shopping centre with the other concrete cows.
I wanted the girls to go in with them to get a better picture, but Olivia refused and did not allow any of us to go in - she is a good honest girl and I am very proud of her!
The girls liked the art which made them even more excited about Christmas.
