Unknown, Willen Lakes

The sculpture looked like a mermaid on a seat. There was lots of bird poo on the ground.

We were there because we had gone to the park and we are going to go to our summer fair straight after swimming, so we choose do it at Willen lake.

At Willen lakes there is a park, lake, wind surfing club, a fun fair, pub, bird poo, geese and ducks.

It was fun!

Vox Pop (The Family): John Clinch, 1988. Queen's Court

On Saturday the girls photographed the newly re-opened Queens's Court eating area in the shopping centre.

They seemed to like the art because they could climb on it and Heidi even wanted to climb the larger parts - a natural monkey!

Daddy is writing due to a fun packed weekend including a Father's Day visit to Nan and Gramps.

O Wert Thou in the Cauld Blast: Ronald Rae, 1984. Milton Keynes Railway Station

We first discovered this sculpture when we went on a bike ride. On our way back we saw it.
I think it is meant to be two people hugging from the cold. It was as if they were hugging because they were in a open area.
The Artist was called Ronald Rae. In 1984 his location outside the railway station was granted.

Unity, Dominic Walpole 1993 - Milton Keynes college

This sculpture is called 'Unity' and the artist that made it was called Dominic Walpole.

It was meant to be three arms holding a big ball. I thought it looked like a spider with the legs and the ball in the middle. The ball in the middle was reflected on the sun, I know that because you can see your self in it. It was shaped like a rocket but the top was like a spiders body.

When we were looking for it, Olivia saw 'Unity' and showed the others where it was. It was made out of we think Mettle or Bronze. We had to stand behind the pole. Daddy took a picture facing the ball at the top with our reflection in it,when I saw the photograph of our reflection on the ball I thought it looked a bit weird.

Clock, Unknown. Milton Keynes shopping center

The clock looked like a giants clock because of it's size. The clock itself did not look really like a clock because it didn't have an outline, it only looked like a clock with the face of the clock and the strings coming out of the bottom.

As you walk past the clock you wouldn't realizes it was a clock until you looked up. When we were photographing the clock Daddy had to lie on the floor to get our heads in the picture.

I would recommend this sculpture to someone else because sculptures are the best!
