Roman mosaic - Unknown, Shopping Center
Daddy is writing today because the three girls were quite busy yesterday, one of whom was building a bear called Rosie, who is hidden in the box being held in the picture.
The artwork is a mosaic made by some Romans a long time ago and is displayed in the shopping center. I am not sure exactly where in Milton Keynes there was a Roman Villa, of which this section of floor was removed.
Gracie was given a magnetic mosaic set for her birthday, so I am looking forward to seeing more mosaics in the future.

The Presentation: Allan Sly, 2001 outside John Ormond House, Silbury Boulevard
We were surfing the internet for a sculpture and I remembered that Daddy had said that we hadn't seen this sculpture so I suggested to him that we should choose this one. This was our first sculpture by Allan Sly. We had to walk miles to get to the sculpture.
The man in the sculpture looked as if he was explaining something to the lady out of his book, perhaps he was presenting something to her. I also thought that the man was explaining the building behind the sculpture.
Daddy thought the lady in the sculpture looked like somebody we know and I agreed.
I think that this sculpture looked kind of funny because there was a gap between the two people so you can look though it. I don't think the sculpture looks very nice because of all the cob webs on it.

Solar Square 24 Hour Clock, Unknown
Well Olivia said,"as we drove past on our way into town to go swimming I spotted a sculpture, at first Daddy didn't believe me because Heidi had only just thought that a wind mill on a school field was a sculpture."
This sculpture is a sun dial the sun gives it electricity and the sundial gives the electricity to the school.
Because the suns highest temperature is 15.000,000f it gives the sundial it's heat waves which then turns into electricity for the school.
I liked the sundial because it looked like a slide which was really quite cool!

The Conversation: Nicolas Moreton, 1995 outside M&S
When we got to our next sculpture we were quite surprised because it had a man we think and a lady with no clothes on. They were sitting on a huge block of stone with Golden fish. I thought they were talking to each other.
On the way there I saw something and it looked like a sculpture. So I said” Daddy look what’s that?” So we went to look to see if we could take a picture of it. But we ended up driving the car round in circles. Eventually we noticed that it was in a school playground for some reason.
